As owner and founder of the egg design group, I'm excited to work with you on your project.  I'm a hands on, roll up my sleeves type designer.  I like to work closely with my clients to create spaces that reflect them - not me.

Hence my philosophy:

Everyone deserves good design

--a space that functions for their lifestyle--

                                                                           and great service

I'd love to have a 20-30 minute conversation with you to decide if I can help you in your space.  Please feel free to reach out to me.  I look forward to hearing from you.

Want to learn a little more about me?

My name is Lynn Tarrence, and I had a vision for a new kind of design firm. I wanted to build a dream team of contractors, architects, and engineers – The Egg Design Group – a team of professionals I could trust no matter the construction challenge. As the leader of these “good eggs,” I challenge my team to demolish the myths that surround design and construction.

I believe in leading by example; I am an out-of-the-box thinker, down-to-earth and very accessible. I push my team to provide innovative design solutions within a client’s timeframe and budget. While some may say I am a multi-tasker and taskmaster, I believe in the power of design. I am committed to bringing good design to all of my clients. In a world of Do-It-Yourself and budget-conscious consumers, it is important to me to help many families at varying income levels.

Outside of the office and off the construction site, I support a variety of community activities and organizations. I have served on the Design & Safety committee at The Point on the River Condo, participate in fundraising efforts for JDRF and am involved with Best Buddies. I have spoken at several conferences on the topic of Parenting Children with Autism, and I mentor area families who are experiencing a variety of challenges with their young children.

When I am not focused on a client project or a community activity, I love spending time with my family. My husband, my children, my dogs…each have a special place in my heart. You may also find me in the garden, uncovering home décor gems in a local antique store or reading, blogging and “oohing and aahing” over light fixtures.
